Guitar Class:
- Students must have their own guitars to bring to the weekly class and for practice at home during the week.
Snare Drum Class:
- Students must have their own drumsticks to bring to class and for practice at home. A pair of hickory sticks, size 5A or 7A, may be purchased for under $5 from a music store. (Click on image below to go to the Guitar Center page.)
- Students must either have a snare drum or a drum pad to bring to class and for practice at home. An inexpensive drum pad ($17 – $19 examples are shown below) can be purchased from a music store, such as Guitar Center.

Drumset Lessons:
- Students must have their own drumset at home or have access to a drumset for practice. The student will play on the instructor’s drumset during the weekly lesson time.
- Although not a requirement, it is recommended that the set have as a minimum, a snare drum, a bass drum, a hi-hat, at least one cymbal, at least one upper tom, and at least one floor tom. See the picture below.
